The consecration ceremony for the 25th Century Buddhist amulets involved two sessions organized by the committee, which invited 108 esteemed monks nationwide. The first session took place on 8 February 1957 at the ordination hall of Wat Suthat Thepwararam, where the materials for the amulets were consecrated and blessed.
On 10 February 1957, His Majesty King Rama IX presided over the casting of the gold Buddha and the initial pressing of the clay and bronze amulets. From that day, the production at Wat Suthat Thepwararam continued for over three months, completing on 2 May 1957. The committee then held a second consecration ceremony lasting three days and three nights.
In total, the consecration ceremonies lasted six days and six nights, with 108 officially invited master monks from across the country participating. The 25th Century Buddha medals were produced in 2,500 gold pieces, 300 silver, and 30 niello. The committee, chaired by Phraya Ramrajphakdi, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, announced that "gold amulets identical in shape and size to the bronze ones, each weighing 6 salueng, would be made in a limited number of 2,500 pieces." The gold amulet production was funded by advance payments of 1,000 baht per unit from preorder customers, with the true sponsorship cost being 2,500 baht each. After completion, buyers were required to pay the remaining 1,500 baht to receive their amulet.
The consecration was considered highly potent and sacred, performed by many renowned master monks such as
Luang Pho Klai from Wat Suankhan, Luang Pho Lee from Wat Asokaram, Luang Pu Jai from Wat Sadet,
Luang Pho Rung from Wat Tha Krabue, Luang Pho Thir from Wat Pa Lelai, Luang Pu Toh from Wat Pradoochimplee, Luang Pho Chaeng from Wat Bang Phang, Luang Pho Chuang from Wat Molee, Luang Pho Ngern from Wat Don Yai Hom, Luang Pu Rian from Wat Nong Bua, Luang Pho Tae from Wat Sam Ngam, and Phra Palat Yang from Wat Bang Chak,
among many others not mentioned.
