  • The ritual involves Brahmins and monks chanting the Chayanto prayer, with villagers helping to pull the sacred thread to bring the Buddha image ashore for placement at the ceremonial pavilion.
  • The robe-changing ceremony includes replacing the Buddha's yellow robe, a moment considered very sacred.

Additionally, participants believe they receive positive energy that helps revive their previously troubled lives rapidly. Holy water is also collected during the event for auspicious blessings.
