Wat Bot Luang Pu Thian is preparing to open its sacred shrine for a special event from 30 May to 7 June 2026, inviting spiritual followers to participate in the ancient 400-year-old shrine passage ceremony and holy water blessing to remove bad karma and enhance their fortune as Jupiter changes zodiac signs.
According to Thai astrology, major planetary movements significantly affect the fortunes of all 12 zodiac signs, especially the "Jupiter zodiac transition," considered a major benefic planet influencing prosperity, progress, and life changes. Recently, Wat Bot Luang Pu Thian in Pathum Thani Province announced a special opening of its sacred shrine to allow the public and devotees to make merit and enhance auspiciousness during this important period.
This shrine opening is scheduled from 30 May to 7 June 2026 under the concept that "some opportunities are not meant for everyone to encounter," offering those with faith the chance to worship and participate in rare ancient rituals.
Inside the ancient shrine, there is a preservation of a "more than 400-year-old ancient Buddha image," rich with historical significance and spiritual lineage passed down through generations.
A key highlight of the event is the sacred shrine passage ceremony, which, according to ancient belief, involves passing through an old shrine where chanting and consecration of sacred objects have been performed over a long period. This is believed to help remove misfortune, relieve bad karma, and open the way for smoother life progress.
In addition to the shrine passage to open one’s fortune, the temple will hold an ancient holy water bath ceremony following the original tradition of Wat Bot. The holy water used in the ritual is intensely consecrated to cleanse curses, relieve bad karma, and enhance one’s luck for a prosperous year 2026.
