Since Wat Mai Amataros is the origin of Phra Somdej Bang Khun Phrom, when thieves secretly opened the batch at the small chedi shrine in this temple, they obtained several powder-based amulets in various molds. Some molds resemble the Somdej type from the large chedi shrine batch, which has made these amulets popular among collectors.
Collectors favor these as amulets from Wat Mai Amataros, characterized by a thick, layered temple residue. The molds found include:
