The silver Nuea Duang coin is part of a series inscribed with sacred colors representing the nine celestial deities (Nopparat) that help enhance all aspects of one's fortune, including finances, career, personal charm, merit, and daily safety.
It is a sacred amulet.
It was created by Phra Ajarn Atichoti Dhammavaro to commemorate the royal elevation of Wat Phutthaisawan, marking the occasion when His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej celebrated 60 years on the throne and graciously designated Wat Phutthaisawan as a royal temple on 23 June 2006, naming the amulet 'Nuea Duang'.
The Nuea Duang, also known as the status-lifting coin, underwent its first consecration ceremony led by Luang Por Atichoti, who invoked the blessings of Phor Jatukam Ramathep and performed the sacred prayers at Phor Jatukam Ramathep's shrine at Wat Phutthaisawan on 15 August 2006 at 20:09. The second ceremony was the Buddhist consecration at Wat Phutthaisawan on 20 August 2006 at 14:19, with 16 revered senior monks sitting in meditation and jointly blessing the coin. These monks were:
