Drowning in Debt? Recite These 3 Prayers to Break Free

Many people mistakenly believe that chanting is magic to conjure money, but in reality, these three powerful Dhamma mantras are not money-attracting spells; rather, they are "mantras to transform life energy and the mind," providing us with the wisdom to manage our debts.

1. The Pahung Chant (Buddha’s Victory Mantra) is recited to overcome obstacles.

This chant is not a money spell but a remembrance of the "eight victories of the Buddha." Reciting the Pahung chant energizes the mind, helping us maintain mindfulness and wisdom to overcome obstacles, including conquering our own doubts and refusing to give in to overwhelming debt.

2. The Chinabanchorn Mantra is chanted to build a protective shield for the mind.

Chanting the Chinabanchorn invokes the merit of the Arahants to surround us with a protective shield, helping to regain focus, ease anxiety, and free the mind from fear. When fear ceases, the mind can begin to see solutions for generating income.

3. The Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta is recited to turn life’s energy wheel.

This first sermon, which describes turning the wheel of Dhamma, helps "move stuck life energy forward," clearing stagnation, removing despair, and opening the way for new opportunities to flow in.

Chanting helps calm the mind and develop wisdom, but if after chanting one simply goes back to sleep, avoids hard work, does not seek extra income, or continues to accumulate new debts, no matter how many times one chants, the debt will never decrease.
