Coordinates for a Spicy Noodle Shop in Satun Province That Brings Tears to Your Eyes, Nicknamed the Flaming Noodle

If you happen to pass through Thung Nui Subdistrict, Khuan Kalong District, Satun Province, and see some customers tearing up, don’t be surprised. This is the signature experience of the “Flaming Noodle” shop—a hidden roadside spot with a shady, homey atmosphere, famous for its intense spiciness that has become a village legend.

Nujanee Dasa, the owner, shared that she originally worked at a company in Hat Yai. After getting married, she moved back to her family home in Satun. Being a longtime noodle lover, she decided to open a small chicken noodle shop in front of her house, running it for over two years.

At first, she cooked the noodles with the level of spiciness she personally liked. However, the heat was so intense that customers joked it was 'spicy enough to breathe fire.' This catchy nickname stuck, eventually becoming the official name of the shop to make it easy to remember.

The shop’s highlight is chicken noodles, available in both clear broth and rich tom yum flavors, served with a variety of noodles—from thin rice noodles and jade noodles to instant noodles—at surprisingly affordable prices. Regular chicken noodles start at 30 baht, with a special version at 40 baht, both generously filled. Refreshing iced drinks are offered at just 20 baht per glass.

Besides noodles, there are plenty of spicy side dishes and salads on the menu, such as burgers, spicy chicken feet salad, spicy 'Tua Po' salad, and spicy chicken salad. All maintain a friendly price point—just 100 baht will fill you up comfortably.

The Flaming Noodle shop is located at Village No. 12, Thung Nui Subdistrict, Khuan Kalong District, Satun Province (enter the alley about 1 km before Pa Pook gas station). The shop is open from 12:00 to 19:00 (closed every Saturday).
