Recently, IKEA Thailand surprised customers by partnering with Chef Ian Pongthawat Chalermkittichai to craft two special dishes under the campaign “I’m Fine Dining with IKEA.” They transformed high-quality ingredients and the beloved meatball into premium-tasting gourmet dishes at prices everyone can afford, available from 1 April onwards.
This important collaboration was inspired by the idea that “great value in taste” can be experienced daily. Chef Ian applied his culinary expertise combined with IKEA’s ingredients to create two standout dishes as follows.
This dish pairs tender MSC-certified snow fish with a special white wine sauce. Chef Ian added miso to enhance the umami flavor, served alongside vegetables and Western-style mashed potatoes.
Taking the legendary IKEA meatballs, beloved worldwide for over 40 years, Chef Ian reinterpreted them with a luxurious cream cheese and fragrant truffle sauce, elevating this familiar dish to a more complex and premium level.
