CHAGEE is celebrating International Tea Day on 21 May by launching the new BO·YA Jasmine Tie Guan Yin menu and hosting workshops and a pop-up event in the Song Wat district, inviting tea enthusiasts to experience the culture and art of authentic tea creation.
Tea has long been intertwined with people's lives, yet behind every cup lies stories of origin, seasons, and the craft passed down through generations. In honor of International Tea Day on 21 May each year, CHAGEE Thailand invites everyone to embark on a journey into the world of tea with new menu offerings and special activities throughout May.
Starting 8 May, CHAGEE officially launches the BO·YA Jasmine recipe, inspired by the legend of friendship between "Bo Ya," a musician, and "Zi Qi," a woodcutter, symbolizing the belief that creations made sincerely will always find those who appreciate them.
This new menu blends the delicate fragrance of premium jasmine flowers from Hengxian County with the distinctive Tieguanyin—an esteemed oolong tea variety from southern Fujian province—offering a complex yet simple flavor, available in two styles.
Beyond beverages, CHAGEE has designed a special collection embodying the spirit of tea: Tea-Scented Charm, Tea Icons Keychain, and Tea Roots Tumbler—temperature-retaining cups—offered exclusively as sets alongside the new menu during this special period.
For those seeking deeper knowledge, CHAGEE will release a special publication compiling tea's cultural heritage, available at participating branches from 21 May onward.
To share tea expertise, CHAGEE has prepared activities open to the public as follows.
Patcharapa Saru, Tea Master from CHAGEE Thailand, said,"International Tea Day reminds us to slow down and appreciate the details and wonders hidden in a cup of tea—whether it’s centuries of accumulated knowledge or the art of cultivation by farmers we might never have seen."
Those interested can experience the special menu and events at all CHAGEE branches across Thailand starting 8 May 2026.
