Mark Your Spot for Delicious Local Cuisine Along Mittraphap Road with a View of Luang Pho To Temple at Na Korat Plato

For anyone planning to travel along Mittraphap Road toward Nakhon Ratchasima province and intending to visit Luang Pho To (Wat Sorapong) in Sikhiu District, it is recommended to stop by "Na Korat Plato," a warm and welcoming restaurant offering authentic local flavors at affordable prices.

The origin of the restaurant's meaningful name, aligned with the Geopark route.

Now in its third year of operation, the restaurant was founded by Mr. Anuwat Sujinpram, who wanted to share the home-style flavors his family loves with customers. The name was honored by Professor Dr. Prateung Jintasakul (director of Khorat Geopark and former director of the Petrified Wood Institute at Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University), chosen to correspond with the Khorat Geopark tourist trail. The word "Plato" means "plateau," clearly reflecting the area's distinctive character and atmosphere.

Highlighting community-sourced ingredients in must-order dishes.

The restaurant emphasizes strong community support by selecting quality ingredients from local producers, especially "fresh fish from Lam Takhong Dam," creatively used in a variety of mouthwatering dishes.

Signature dishes that whet the appetite: Large Pae Sa Pla Chon, steamed ruby fish with lime and fully loaded spicy salad, rich salted egg stir-fried squid, tender grilled pork neck, and a flavorful spicy pork rib soup.

Popular and essential dishes at every table: For those who love spicy food, try the "Luang Prabang papaya salad" and the restaurant's special som tam recipe. A must-try favorite is the "steamed egg hot pot," with its smooth, mild flavor ordered by almost every table.

Besides the full savory menu, the restaurant features a café zone offering aromatic coffee and mulberry juice to refresh guests before continuing their journey.

Enjoy delicious food with a million-baht view of Luang Pho To's viharn.
