MK Restaurant Group has launched its first monthly all-you-can-eat buffet subscription with four packages priced between 1,495 and 2,990 baht. Sales start on 27 July, with usage valid throughout August. The break-even point for each package depends on fully using the visits within the month.
MK Restaurant Group introduced the MK Buffet Subscription, its first monthly all-you-can-eat package. After one year of offering the 299-baht buffet, they found the most frequent customers visited 188 times per year. This inspired the monthly package to help regular customers reduce their average cost per visit. The 188 visits per year average to nearly 16 times per month, or about every other day throughout the year.
The packages are divided into four types, valid for one person per package, as follows:
Calculating the average cost per meal shows Khum Khum costs about 249 baht per visit, Khum Plus about 233 baht, and Khum Max about 230 baht. These three packages price out exactly as 299 baht multiplied by the paid visits, with no front-end discount. The added value is the free visits at the end of the package, saving roughly 50 to 69 baht per meal compared to paying the regular price.
The Unlimited Package matches the Khum Max price at 2,990 baht, with a break-even point at 10 visits. Using it more than 13 times makes it more advantageous than Khum Max. If used every day in August (31 days), the average cost drops to about 96 baht per meal.
However, a key difference between these two packages at the same price is that the Unlimited Package allows only one use per day, with the QR code refreshed daily, and does not earn membership points.
In contrast, the count-based packages have no daily visit limit, their QR code refreshes every hour, and customers can earn membership points as usual. Thus, the "unlimited" package actually has a daily limit, while the packages with visit counts do not. Buyers should choose based on their dining habits.
Other important conditions to consider are that purchased packages are non-refundable and non-cancellable. Prices exclude additional menu items like fresh shrimp, seafood, or unlimited ice cream, which incur extra charges. Packages cannot be combined with other promotions or membership discounts. Each package is tied to one person and cannot be shared across a table, though multiple packages can be used on the same bill.
MK sells the packages from 27 July to 9 August 2026 via LINE Official @mkrestaurant, with usage valid from 1 to 31 August 2026 only at branches offering MK Buffet priced at 299 baht.
Overall, this package benefits consumers who know their dining frequency, as savings occur only when fully utilizing the visits. Unused visits expire at the end of August with no refunds or carryovers to the next month.
