
Scout Laws and Regulations that Guide Behavior These are part of the behavioral rules taught in the Thai Scout curriculum, designed to train youth to be beneficial to society, develop discipline, and promote culture and national security. Within this course, there are the 10 Scout Laws the Scout Pledge, as well as a Scout Law song that helps Cub Scouts memorize more easily.
The 10 Scout Laws apply to Senior Scouts, Scouts, and Special Scouts, and are mostly used commonly among them. They are as follows:

The Scout Law song varies in lyrics and melody but is generally lively and easy to remember to help Scouts sing along and memorize the laws more easily. For example:
“Dew falls and cool breezes in the late night,
Remembering Scout laws to sharpen the mind,
One is honor, two is loyalty,
Three is duty, four is friends,
Five is politeness, six is kindness,
Seven obeys, eight is joyful, no confusion,
Nine is thrift, never poor, ten behaves well in body, speech, and mind.”
Before reciting the Scout Laws and Pledge, the phrase “I promise that” is said.

Scout Laws and Pledges Besides memorizing and following these within Scout groups, the same laws are also used for the Girl Guides of each type, simply replacing the word 'Scout' with 'Girl Guide'.
