The Silom Songkran Festival 2025 opened for water play starting 12 April. Today, 14 April 2025, is the final day water play is permitted until 9:00 PM. The day features the PRIDE PARADE “My Home Songkran, Silom Colors” and the Miss Amazing Bangkok Queen Songkran 2025 contest. Thairath Online’s photography team captured the joyful scenes of Thai and international tourists enjoying Silom Songkran.
The final day’s atmosphere on Silom Road was vibrant and lively. Both Thai and foreign visitors arrived from the afternoon, filling the event area with smiles and laughter.
The highlight was the spectacular Wet Parade Party by the LGBTQIA+ community, themed with bold colors and featuring smooth dance performances in the street. It attracted attendees to stop, watch, and join the dancing, adding a perfect splash of color to the celebration.
The Silom parade included participants from eight allied countries and featured the Miss Amazing Queen Songkran 2025 pageant to celebrate the enforcement of marriage equality laws, alongside performances showcasing Thai culture from the country’s four regions.
Additionally, the annual LGBTQ Songkran Queen pageant was held this year as Miss Amazing Queen Songkran 2025 to honor marriage equality laws. Street food vendors were available along the water play route, and activities encouraged everyone to wear traditional Thai clothing to create a festive Thai atmosphere for Songkran.
