
An easy-to-understand guide on how to register for early voting in 2026 for those unable to vote on the actual election day or with urgent commitments. This manual covers registration for early voting both inside and outside the district, as well as abroad.
Mark the important date for the 2026 election: 8 Feb 2026 is election day. Prepare your ID card and vote using the two-ballot system from 08:00 to 17:00.
Early voting registration is open from 20 December 2025 to 5 January 2026, and early voting will take place on 1 February 2026 from 08:00 to 17:00.
This group can register through four channels:
1. Online via the internet.Access the Registration Administration Bureau's website.
2. Using the ThaID application by the Department of Provincial Administration.
3. Using the Smart Vote application.
4. By postal mail addressed to the district or local registrar (date stamp is crucial), or submit in person at the district office or local government office.
This group cannot register online and must proceed as follows:
Those eligible include government officials or personnel ordered to work on election day or those with urgent travel reasons. They can submit their registration in person (or by proxy) or by mail, attaching official orders or certification proving they cannot vote on the actual day.
