Streetwear fans, get ready: Human Made and Curry Up are launching for the first time in Thailand on the 2nd floor of Central Embassy, featuring world-class fashion alongside Nigo’s secret curry recipe—all in one place, with a history that has captured the hearts of Gen Z worldwide.
The wait is over for Thai streetwear enthusiasts and food lovers as two iconic brands, Human Made and Curry Up by Japanese fashion mogul Nigo, prepare for their official debut in Thailand on the 2nd floor of Central Embassy, combining fashion and lifestyle dining in one comprehensive location.
It marks the first time that Human Made, a global fashion brand, and Curry Up, a famous curry restaurant, have chosen to open simultaneously in Thailand. The special feature is the dual-concept layout, allowing customers to shop for rare items and enjoy legendary dishes in the same space.
Human Made was founded in 2010 by Nigo (Tomoaki Nagao), the creator of the renowned A Bathing Ape (BAPE). What sets Human Made apart is"freedom"The brand does not follow mainstream fashion rules but focuses on reinterpreting the vintage Americana styles of the 1950s-1960s with a playful and accessible perspective.
The symbols"red heart"and animal graphics such as ducks, polar bears, and dogs have become iconic images that give the brand a friendly, highly unisex appeal. This resonates with Gen Z, who value gender fluidity and brand authenticity. Collaborations with global names like Adidas and Pharrell Williams have cemented Human Made as a"must-have item"in the wardrobes of young people worldwide.
Not just fashion, Nigo has also channeled his culinary tastes into creating Curry Up, a famous Japanese curry restaurant that started in the Sendagaya area of Tokyo (now relocated to Nakameguro with other branches).
The name"Curry Up"comes from a suggestion by his close friend Pharrell Williams. The restaurant features simple yet stylish décor true to Nigo’s style and offers rich, homemade-style premium curry flavors. Popular dishes include"Butter Chicken"and"Beef Curry"served in carefully designed containers. The restaurant offers not just food but an"experience"that every Human Made fan must try at least once.
As for the official opening date, fans of Human Made and Curry Up will have to wait a little longer. There might even be a special collaboration to look forward to—stay tuned together.
