Netflix Transforms Lumphini Park into the “Grand Line” in Thailand from 8-15 March — One Piece Fans Must Not Miss

One Piece fans, get ready! Netflix is partnering with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to transform Lumphini Park into the Grand Line route. Enjoy highlights like pedaling the pirate ship Going Merry, eye-to-eye encounters with the Laboon whale, and exclusive photo spots from 8-15 March 2026. Admission is free.

Nakama, prepare yourselves! Netflix turns Lumphini Park into the legendary sea route known as the "Grand Line" to welcome the return of the global live-action series "One Piece: Heading to the Grand Line." Join in as captain to pedal the pirate ship, gaze upon the giant Laboon whale, and take full selfies with Luffy from 8-15 March only!

Adventure into the world of One Piece right in the heart of Bangkok.

A big surprise for Thai fans: Netflix teams up with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to host "GRAND LINE IN THAILAND," transforming Lumphini Park into a space of adventure as a warm-up before the new One Piece season streams on 10 March.

Top highlight: Pedal the pirate ship and meet the whale "Laboon."

Don’t miss the Pirate Pedal Boat activity, where you can transform into your favorite side by choosing from three boat styles:

  • Going Merry ship: The legendary vessel of the Straw Hat crew.
  • Baroque Works ship: Infiltrate the ultra-cool secret organization.
  • Marine ship: Stand firm in protecting justice like the navy.

Participants will pedal their boats to meet “Laboon,” the giant Ireland whale whose blinking eyes make it seem alive, prominently waiting in the middle of the pond to greet everyone.

Photo check-in spots that social media fans must not miss.

Besides water activities, there are exclusive photo spots recreated from the One Piece world.

  • LUFFY WEFIE: Take wide-angle photos with Captain Luffy striking his "Rubber Fist" pose.
  • CHOPPER MEETING POINT: The meeting spot for Chopper, with secrets waiting for you to discover.
  • NAKAMA'S YARD: A picnic relaxation area offering free One Piece patterned mats for 1 hour (just register with your ID card).

Mark your calendar and know the rules before you go.

This event is free to attend from 8-15 March 2026 at Lumphini Park (the pond near the pedal boat service point).

  • Photo zones and general activities: Open from 07:00 to 22:00.
  • Pedal boat activity: Available in two time slots — 07:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 18:30.

Important notes for pedaling the boats.

  • Each boat seats up to 2 adults (or 2 adults and 1 child).
  • Combined weight must not exceed 200 kg, and the weight difference between two passengers must not exceed 30 kg for balance.
  • Each round lasts 10 minutes, and wearing a life jacket at all times is mandatory.

"GRAND LINE IN THAILAND" is an event no One Piece superfan or content enthusiast should miss. Beyond experiencing a realistic adventure atmosphere, it's the perfect preparation before the new season premieres on Netflix on 10 March.
