Get ready to open the door to a parallel dimension! MRKREME, the renowned Thai-Hong Kong artist and creator of the Mushkin character, teams up with ARTXP and the Tourism Authority of Thailand to kick off "MRKREME: THE FURRYWAYS," the first nationwide art tour, marking its debut at the historic Song Wat neighborhood from 13–19 Apr 2026. The project transforms urban gaps into imaginative spaces under the concept "Please Mind the Gap."
Transforming the ‘urban gaps’ into a gateway to KookyWorld by MRKREMEKnown as Andy Worakarn Jongthanapipat, MRKREME is distinguished by his Retro-Future line art style. Together with ARTXP, a leading art community, he creates an Interactive Pop-up Showcase bringing monsters from the Kooky World universe into real spaces. By utilizing the city’s context as Contextual Art, this project sparks new dialogues between concrete structures and lively characters to inspire and add value to society.
Activities in the Song Wat district are divided into two key periods that content enthusiasts should not miss.
This project is supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand to promote Soft Power and sustainably connect contemporary art with local identity. After the Song Wat event, “MRKREME: THE FURRYWAYS” will continue to bring fun to four more provinces: Chiang Mai, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Rayong, and Udon Thani, from 13 Apr to 24 May 2026.
