Meet the 26 MMAD Artists: An Art Space Featuring 26 Exhibitions Showcasing New Generation Artists

Experience the art-filled passion at Meet the 26 MMAD Artists, a space dedicated to the enthusiasm of emerging artists, featuring 26 exhibitions throughout the year at Mad Munmun Srinakarin.

If you are an art lover seeking a space brimming with limitless creativity, get ready to unleash your MAD passion at the Meet the 26 MMAD Artists exhibition held at Mad Munmun Srinakarin.

This exhibition transforms MMAD GALLERY into a space reflecting the identity and spirit of 26 artists rigorously selected from 279 projects nationwide under the campaign MMADness is Calling: Dare to be Bold, Dare to be Free, with artworks displayed continuously for nearly a full year from 7 May 2026 to 14 March 2027 GMT+7.

The opening event on Thursday, 7 May 2026, from 16:00 to 17:00 GMT+7 at MMAD GALLERY, 2nd floor, Mad Munmun Srinakarin inside Seacon Square shopping mall, will introduce the first group of artists and present diverse artworks including installations, mixed media, paintings, and design. It starts with six exhibitions that open a universe of passion for visitors to explore up close.

Beginning with MMAD GALLERY 1: PSYCHE AND FLESH by Juthamanee Dilokasopon. This work invites viewers to explore a mind laboratory through installations using fragile materials such as thread, rope, mosquito nets, and Chinese ink to simulate mental states and brain chemicals, evoking hidden inner feelings.

Next is MMAD GALLERY 2: What Lies on Top of the Mountain by Upper. It invites visitors to pass through a fabric curtain into the silence and fragility following intimacy, revealing the raw and delicate emotions of a couple through paintings and animation.

Then comes a social commentary in MMAD GALLERY 3: “24 / 7 OBJECTS” Everyday Reimagining Bangkok Things by Jhanyar. This satirical design work reinterprets everyday behaviors and roadside objects in Bangkok to honestly reflect Thai lifestyle and tastes. Following this is MMAD GALLERY 4: Steam Stream, created by Benjarat Iamrat and co-curated by Primont Tulwarat. This is the third work from the Nam Sai project, transforming spaces into vessels for life’s conversations through water in states of flow and steam, expanding imagination about surrounding energy.

Art lovers fond of texture and structure should visit MMAD GALLERY 5: As I Sew by Sunburn The Kid. An abstract art exhibition that revitalizes secondhand clothes and discarded fabric scraps into complex, beautiful structures showcasing cutting, patching, and sewing skills through layered textiles. Ending with a warm touch is MMAD GALLERY 6: ปลา เป็น เพื่อน (Fish is a Friend) by Thrat Supamaneepat. This exhibition displays fish sculptures made from scrap wood and discarded items, offering visitors the chance to assemble their own small wooden fish to add to the display, transforming loneliness into friendship.

Anyone passionate about art and eager to experience creative energy can visit the Meet the 26 MMAD Artists exhibition to view works and interact with the first group of artists. This gallery walk is sure to open new perspectives and inspire visitors deeply.
