The joyful event has concluded as Thairath teamed up with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to transform Chatuchak Park into a "central city stage." Over 1,500 health enthusiasts danced enthusiastically, with plans announced to continue the event for another three consecutive weeks.
Thairath Group and BMA joined forces to create a central city stage that energizes health-conscious people. Along with partners including the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), TG, Poj Xian, Isuzu, LINEMAN, Poppu, and Krob Klam, they launched an innovative event at Chatuchak Park aimed at enhancing healthy spaces and inspiring urban residents through the "Mak Muan Na Haan" event.
The atmosphere on 14 May 2026 was lively and exceeded expectations, with over 1,500 people from various fields, including celebrities, joining the dance steps. The former aerobics area was successfully transformed into a "central city stage" in full swing.
At 5:00 p.m., Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, officially opened the event. He shared his vision for public health promotion, stating, "Good health cannot be bought; the key is to stay strong before falling ill. We are opening quality public spaces with meaningful activities and aerobics instructors so people can take care of their health. This is not just in parks but extends to communities to reach as many people as possible."
He also discussed the development direction of public spaces over the past two years: "We have worked hard to create quality public spaces everywhere, including sports areas, parks, and running tracks. We want quality public spaces where people can exercise, watch performances, and enjoy arts. Urban progress is measured not by buildings but by quality public spaces people use." This aligns with BMA's commitment to supporting exercise spaces that are fun and accessible for everyone.
The event’s highlight that got everyone sweating and smiling was the appearance of singer Hai Arpaporn, who energized Chatuchak Park with lively rhythms. She led an intense aerobics session on stage, performing to a playlist of upbeat hits such as "Chep Ba" and "Roem Laew Ka."
For those who missed this event, there is no need to worry as Thairath will continue the "Aerobics Mak Muan Na Haan" sessions every Thursday for the next three weeks on 21 May, 28 May, and 4 June 2026, offering ongoing fun and health benefits.
Additionally, Thairath has a major year-end surprise planned for fans: the "Thairath Na Haan Music Festival," featuring a lineup of Mor Lam and Luk Thung singers all in one place on Saturday, 14 November 2026. Prepare to get fit and join the celebration!
