TikTok has partnered with the Department of Mental Health to launch the "Mind Moments: My Moments" campaign, inviting Thai people to heal their minds and foster healthy digital well-being through advanced app features designed to sustainably balance social media use.
In an era where social media is part of daily life, taking care of mental health alongside online activity is crucial. Recently, TikTok collaborated with the Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health, to mark Thailand’s Mind Month by launching the "Mind Moments: My Moments" campaign, encouraging users to relax, reset their mood, and develop balanced digital habits.
This campaign highlights the Time and Well-being feature, developed under the Safety by Design concept, transforming the app into a safe zone space for users to care for their mental health.
TikTok is committed to providing tools that help users manage their time and build positive discipline independently. The main functions within this feature include the following:
Additionally, for modern families, the Family Pairing feature allows parents and children to connect and set appropriate safety settings together.
Any user can easily start managing their digital well-being by following these steps:
Chanida Klaipan (Director of Public Policy, SEA TikTok) stated that lasting fun and creativity require safety. The Safety by Design philosophy is central to developing this feature so users, especially youth, can live balanced digital lives.
From a medical viewpoint, Dr. Woratom Chotipittayason, a child and adolescent psychiatrist and spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Health and Department of Mental Health, noted that digital well-being is not just about reducing screen time but having tools to care for oneself at any moment. Integrating breathing exercises and sound therapy directly into the app makes mental health care more accessible.
Digital native creator and modern mom Taem-Kulisara Ninernnon from the channel 'Family An An Un Un' shared that she uses Soothing Sounds and Breathing Exercises to reset her mood and practice mindfulness before work or childcare, emphasizing that modeling these habits lays a foundation for digital hygiene for her children.
This collaboration with the Department of Mental Health will include proactive activities throughout May 2026, such as the "Mental Health is Now" panel discussion, "Mind Café - Heart Talks"—a five-day series across five cafes in Bangkok streamed live on TikTok Live—and the creation of a Content Hub featuring practical short videos on mental health knowledge.
