Checklist of Participating Stores in the Thai Help Thai Plus 60/40 Program: Franchise, Electric Trains, Delivery Usage

A checklist of stores and services participating in the "Thai Help Thai Plus 60/40" program for 2026, a government economic stimulus measure where the government pays 60% and citizens pay 40%. This summary includes eligible stores, prohibited products, and public transport conditions so you don't miss out on your benefits.

The important government economic stimulus measure, the "Thai Help Thai Plus 60/40" program for 2026, has begun. It aims to ease citizens' living costs by having the government subsidize 60% of goods and services costs, with citizens paying 40% through the G-Wallet on the "Paotang" application.

For optimal spending planning, we have compiled a checklist of participating stores, services, and key conditions beneficiaries should know before scanning to pay.

Citizens can use their rights to pay at various types of registered stores and services participating in the program, as follows.

  • BTS electric trains and the Gold Line: You can scan to pay for single-ride tickets at station ticket counters.
  • Red Line electric trains: Purchase travel tokens at ticket counters at all stations.
  • Airport Rail Link: Use to buy single-ride tokens at ticket counters.
  • BMTA buses: Scan to pay using fare collection devices operated by bus conductors.
  • Chao Phraya Express Boats: Pay regular fares at designated piers.
  • BKS buses (intercity buses): Purchase tickets for all routes at ticket counters nationwide (if fare exceeds daily credit limit, the difference must be paid in cash).

4. Ordering food via food delivery platforms.

  • Rights can be used through approved major platforms including Grab, LINE MAN, ShopeeFood, and Robinhood.

Checklist of stores and products "not participating" in the program.

To align with the goal of stimulating the grassroots economy and small entrepreneurs, the government has defined items ineligible for Thai Help Thai Plus benefits as follows.

  • Convenience stores that are franchise businesses: Not eligible for the rights. However, individuals who purchase franchises for small food or beverage shops, such as bubble tea or sushi, can still participate and use the rights normally.
  • Certain service business groups: Massage, spa, nail salons, and hair salons cannot participate in the 2026 program round.
  • Prohibited products: Government lottery tickets, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, gift vouchers/gift cards, cash cards, and prepayment services.
  • Large retail and wholesale chains (Modern Trade): Such as Big C, Lotus's, Makro, 7-Eleven, and Tops cannot scan to pay directly via the 60/40 program. However, these stores have parallel campaigns called "Thai Help Thai" with the Ministry of Commerce, offering price reductions of up to 50-60% to the general public without needing to scan rights.

5 Important conditions and things to know when using the rights.

  1. Payment ratio and credit limit: The government pays 60%, citizens pay 40%, with a maximum credit limit of 200 baht per person per day and support up to 1,000 baht per person per month (up to 4,000 baht total over the 4-month program duration).
  2. Unused balance expires monthly: If the 1,000 baht monthly limit is not fully used, the remaining balance cannot be carried over or accumulated for the next month. The system resets balances at the end of each month.
  3. Usage hours: Scanning to pay at stores and public transport is allowed from 06:00 to 23:00 daily. For food delivery orders, rights can be used only from 06:00 to 21:00.
  4. Food delivery conditions: The program subsidizes only "food and beverage" costs, excluding delivery fees. Users must pay delivery fees through the delivery app first. Then the system will notify them to confirm payment of the remaining food cost via the "Paotang" app within 5 minutes. If time expires, the order will be automatically canceled.
  5. Specific conditions for mass transit: Tickets or tokens purchased for electric trains must be used for travel on the same day of purchase only, and tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash under any circumstances.

Citizens wishing to check participating stores, scan locations of small stores near their homes, or check remaining credit balances can do so at the central information website www.ไทยช่วยไทยพลัส.th or directly via the "Paotang" app.
