Netflix has just released the main trailer and poster for the series'Devil's Advocate'An intense courtroom drama that takes viewers deep into the truth, directly exposing flaws in Thailand's justice system, provoking the question,"In a distorted system, will you endure being a ‘good person’ or choose the path of the ‘devil’?”
The story begins with“Mek”(played by Nat Kitcharit), a young lawyer who firmly believes in justice and that the law exists to protect the defenseless. But overnight, his life is turned upside down when he becomes the prime suspect in the murder of the son of“Big Anan”(played by Songsit Roongnophakunsri), a powerful high-ranking police officer. From a man who believed in ideals to help others, Mek must now fight to survive in a system that does not grant him the justice he expected.
At his lowest point, Mek must accept help from“Jittri”(played by Rhatha Phongam), a female lawyer known as“Devil’s Advocate”famous for exploiting every legal loophole, bending all rules, and doing whatever it takes to win—on the condition that Mek works for her. The deeper Mek falls into Jittri’s world, the more he confronts the complex moral gray areas behind the justice system.
The excitement around this series comes from having Natthapon Boonprakob, the award-winning director behind the hit series Emergency Dispatch, as director and co-writer, alongside Songpol Chantasom (producer) and Jakkarin Thepwong (co-director and co-writer).
