Recent statistics compiled from global health tracker users over the past year, in celebration of Global Running Day and World Bicycle Day, reveal interesting figures: indoor running activity grew nearly 13 percent, while outdoor running increased by 3 percent.

Moreover, holistic health trends are clearly gaining popularity, as data shows a 23 percent rise in people combining running with weight training within the same week to build muscle strength, reflecting a focus not only on calorie burning but also overall body strength.

Regarding developments in Thailand, statistics indicate that Thais remain firmly committed to an active lifestyle. Thai runners average 46.7 minutes per running session, ranking fifth in the Asia-Pacific region alongside China, India, Vietnam, and the Philippines, and placing 29th worldwide.

The average distance per run is 7.2 kilometers. Beyond general running stats, data shows that half-marathon training programs are a popular choice globally for systematically improving fitness, demonstrating strong personal dedication to pushing one's limits.

A key highlight is the serious commitment of Thai cyclists, whose average speed reaches 16.81 miles per hour, the second highest worldwide, and who average 49.6 kilometers per ride, ranking ninth globally.

When broken down by cycling type, Thai indoor cyclists average 65.3 minutes per session, ranking 26th globally, while outdoor cyclists average 113.1 minutes, placing 32nd worldwide.
