
Get ready! Join the Bangkok World Music Day 2026, a free 10-hour concert featuring 30 artists across five stages at One Bangkok on 13 June.
Returning grandly for music lovers and those seeking mid-year Bangkok outings, One Bangkok has partnered with the French Association of Bangkok, the French Embassy in Thailand, and Live Promotions to organize the event.The event is called “Bangkok World Music Day ’69.”Also known as Bangkok World Music Day 2026, it is an international music festival open to everyone for free in the city center.
Inspired by France's Fête de la Musique, which began in 1982 to bring music to the streets and promote culture as a public treasure accessible to all, this festival now takes place in over 120 countries worldwide. In Thailand, the 2025 event was a great success with over 7,000 attendees, prompting an even bigger and more internationally collaborative festival in 2026.
The event offers over 10 hours of entertainment with five stages set up around One Bangkok and the French Association of Bangkok, hosting more than 30 Thai and foreign artists performing diverse genres including pop, indie, mor lam, hip hop, jazz, and electronic music.

Since the event takes place in June, Pride Month, the organizers have integrated LGBTQ+ diversity with music and art. Highlights include the GLITTER BALL performance led by Vinii Revlon, a legend in the scene, and La Gaîté Lyrique creating a special ballroom event celebrating voguing culture.
Also featured is the project“Echoes of Plurality”which offers opportunities for young female and queer DJs to exchange experiences in electronic music with global artists, reinforcing that music truly is an inclusive space for everyone.
