
The Treasury Department Through the Currency Management Division, the department will deploy mobile coin redemption vehicles to provide coin exchange services, making it easier for the public who have coins and wish to redeem them but have limited access to do so. This includes all circulating coins of various denominations, as well as coins in good condition or damaged coins such as blackened, cut, stamped, pierced, or bent coins. In June 2026, these services will be available at various locations.
The mobile coin redemption vehicle is another means to encourage people who have coins stored to bring them out for exchange, increasing coin circulation. It also offers convenience to those who cannot easily access coin redemption services. Citizens may exchange coins up to 10,000 baht per person per day, including all denominations. Customers are kindly requested to clean their coins beforehand and not to sort them into small bags to speed up the counting and service process.
