This milestone makes him the world's first individual creator to achieve such a record, reflecting the scale and expansion of the digital content industry today.
Looking back at the growth of the MrBeast channel, he has held the position as the individual creator with the most subscribers on the platform since November 2022, before advancing to become the overall YouTube channel with the highest subscriber count in June 2024.
A key factor driving the channel’s global growth is its large-scale production style, highlighted by the breakthrough video "$456,000 Squid Game In Real Life!" which recreated the famous series as a real-life competition. This video has since amassed nearly 1 billion views.
Beyond content on his main channel, MrBeast has expanded a network of sub-channels targeting specific audiences, such as gaming videos.
