Grab Thailand held the annual awards ceremony to honor the top service providers of the year.The event was titled “Grab Driver Awards.”This inaugural event honored over 400 drivers and riders nationwide who delivered exceptional service. Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat, Deputy Minister of Transport, presided over the ceremony, noting that app-based ride services play a vital role in daily life and tourism. He said this event helps create role model drivers to develop long-term safety and service standards.
App-based ride-hailing services in Thailand have received continuous legal recognition since the Ministry of Transport issued ministerial regulations to organize and modernize the public transport system. These efforts aim to enhance safety and build confidence among foreign tourists visiting the country.
