Dr. Araya Panurach, director of Bangkok Metro Networks Company Limited, said that personal and work-related fatigue makes travel one of the ways to rejuvenate and regain energy, hoping that travel can heal and refresh.

Dr. Araya added that although MRT as public transport moves people from one point to another, it can be more than that—especially as a space to create happiness and lifestyle experiences, where people gather for activities, relax, and dine.

Next was a Talk Session featuring Boy Kosiyapong, producer and songwriter, and Wannasing Prasertkul, traveler and documentary producer of "Theuen Travel," sharing their travel experiences.

Boy Kosiyapong said that when tired, he reads the Bible, finding its words and stories healing, like recharging his batteries. But for travel, the best recharge is traveling with his wife and daughter. Though physically tiring from shopping, seeing his family happy is rewarding.

Wannasing Prasertkul said he is an introvert, and his way to recharge is to be quiet, walk in a garden, cycle slowly, and go to the gym.

Wannasing shared that although he travels often, it’s not really for leisure because documentary work requires solo travel and 15–16 hour workdays. Over 15 years making documentaries—living with tribes, meeting yakuza, and visiting war zones—he has seen both humanity’s best and worst, which has changed him in two ways: first, he complains much less about traffic or rain, appreciating that he’s seen some of the worst places in the world; second, he judges others less after meeting hundreds and thousands of different people.

Wannasing also mentioned arriving early at the event gave him a chance to explore the underground area of Chatuchak Station, which offers diverse services—from flu vaccination points to eyelash and nail salons—discovering new things that also serve as a form of emotional healing.

At the end, both shared thoughts on choosing trips: Boy Kosiyapong said the destination is less important than the companion; if you have understanding company, any place is good. Wannasing believes relaxation trips are good but often quickly forgotten, while trips that teach new things are remembered longer despite being more tiring, recommending a balance between both types of travel.
