Boonlert Narathai, Chief Executive Officer of ARIP Public Company Limited, revealed at the opening ceremony that this COMMART event is held under the concept of COMMART UNBOX to stimulate the year-end IT market. A key point for consumers to watch is the price trend of computer components, especially DDR5 RAM, which is expected to more than double in price soon. This will have a knock-on effect on GPU prices because demand for high-performance memory is surging globally amid the expansion of AI data centers, while chip production capacity remains limited. Therefore, this period is an ideal time for those looking to build or upgrade computers.
This year's event highlights focus on showcasing innovations and new models, including the special ASUS ROG x Hatsune Miku collection, the latest portable gaming console ASUS ROG Ally X, and MSI Claw A8 AI+. Also featured are newly designed cases like the Phanteks EVOLV X2, along with an expanded presence of smart home devices and smartphones to cater to the diverse needs of consumers.
