Huawei raises the standard for foldable smartphones with innovations including a steel hinge, Kunlun Glass, and IP59 water resistance that endures exposure to high-temperature water.
Huawei has set the price for the Huawei Mate X7 foldable smartphone, which enhances structural durability and improves photography. The Mate X7 uses a curved 5-piece steel hinge mechanism made from high-strength steel, paired with an outer screen protected by Crystal Armour Kunlun Glass.
The inner screen of the Huawei Mate X7 features a 3-layer composite structure, doubling its resistance to bending and increasing impact resistance by 20 percent. The device also uses aerospace-grade aluminum and a Composite Brocade Fiber back cover. It has passed water and dust resistance tests at IP58 and IP59 levels, protecting against high-temperature water at 80 degrees Celsius and high-pressure water.
The Huawei Mate X7 display is an 8-inch LTPO OLED supporting 1 billion colors with a resolution of 2210 x 2416 pixels. The front screen measures 6.49 inches with a 1080 x 2444 pixel resolution, also using LTPO OLED technology.
The Huawei Mate X7 runs EMUI 15 and is powered by the Kirin 9030 Pro chipset built on a 6-nanometer architecture.
The Huawei Mate X7 camera system employs True-to-Colour technology, increasing color accuracy by 43 percent and light sensitivity by 96 percent through its Ultra-Lighting HDR main camera. It works with a 50-megapixel Telephoto Macro lens supporting 3.5x optical zoom via a periscope system.
For video, the phone supports 4K recording with a 17.5 EV dynamic range and features AI-assisted processing that enhances both portrait and landscape photos for clearer details and wider dynamic range.
The Huawei Mate X7 battery uses Silicon-Carbon Anode technology with a 5,600mAh capacity, supporting 66W wired HUAWEI SuperCharge and 50W wireless charging.
The Huawei Mate X7 is available in two colors: Nebula Red and black. Pre-orders are open until 13 Feb 2026 GMT+7, priced at 66,990 baht.
