Leaked information ahead of Galaxy Unpacked 2026 indicates that the S Pen accessory for the Galaxy S26 Ultra will not support Bluetooth technology, focusing its primary use solely on writing.
The Galaxy S26 Series launch, which includes the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra at Galaxy Unpacked 2026, has revealed nearly all details about the devices through official Samsung disclosures and internet creators.
According to KaroulSahil on the X platform, the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s S Pen stylus will not support Bluetooth, meaning its use is limited exclusively to writing.
KaroulSahil’s video states he obtained the device from a local market, noting that the S Pen lacks Bluetooth like previous models. This means key remote features, such as using the stylus as a camera shutter remote or as a pointer to control presentations, are not possible.
KaroulSahil also noted that the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s design is more rounded, which may affect the S Pen slot. The video shows that if users insert the pen backwards, the angled end shaped by the device’s curvature sticks out instead of fitting flush with the frame, and there appears to be no mechanism to prevent incorrect insertion.
Another notable aspect of the Galaxy S26 Series launch is the pricing challenge Samsung faces due to difficulties controlling costs of RAM and chipsets, driven by high demand in the AI industry that is disrupting the tech sector.
