The affection and support for "Punch-kun," a six-month-old monkey from Japan, have gone viral worldwide. Even Google has featured him as a Doodle, filling the entire screen with his charm whenever his name is searched.
The phenomenonThis special Doodle by Google is not the first. Back in 2024, "Moo Deng," a three-month-old dwarf hippopotamus from Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand, also went viral worldwide, prompting Google to create a Doodle for him during that period.
Although the characters of "Moo Deng" and "Punch-kun" are completely different, the cuteness of both has easily captured the hearts of animal lovers, turning them into devoted online caretakers.
