Honor has launched an innovative smartphone that interacts with users and supports all-direction cinematic shooting.
At the Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, Honor unveiled the Robot Phone, which comes with a robotic arm controlling the camera and can respond to user gestures such as nodding, shaking the head, or even dancing to music.
The Honor Robot Phone features a 200-megapixel camera equipped with a 3-axis gimbal robotic arm. It contains motors that control various movements. Honor guarantees that the axes are highly durable, allowing 360-degree rotation vertically at 90 or 180 degrees for cinematic shooting.
Additionally, the Robot Phone includes AI Object Tracking that automatically rotates the camera to follow the user's face during video calls.
Honor plans to release the Robot Phone in the second half of this year.
