Anthropic, the owner of the Claude product, grants all users across every package double AI usage access during low-traffic, non-urgent periods, which correspond to off-work hours.
Anthropic announced that all Claude users, whether on the free tier, Pro, Max, or Team packages, can use the AI at twice their normal usage limits until 27 March.
However, this doubled access is only available during non-peak hours—specifically, outside the heavy usage hours of 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, users can use double capacity because server load is lighter and does not impact performance.
This announcement of doubling Claude usage rights coincides with Anthropic’s rollout of new features like the beta version of Immersive Visuals, which enables the AI to respond and display images contextually in real time.
The increased usage quota for Claude is part of a marketing strategy aimed at expanding its user base, giving both new and existing users the chance to try and learn about new features.
