Samsung has introduced two new models in its mid-range A Series lineup: the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Samsung Galaxy A37 5G. Both come with ultra-wide lens setups and support 4K video recording.
Samsung has launched new smartphones from itsA Series.These include the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Samsung Galaxy A37 5G, both designed with a slim profile measuring 6.9 millimeters thick.
In photography, they support 4K video recording with an ultra-wide lens offering a 123-degree field of view at 0.6x zoom.
Both Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G feature 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ screens with peak brightness of 1,900 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ for enhanced durability, and offer IP68 water and dust resistance, allowing submersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
Camera upgrades include a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The Galaxy A37's ultra-wide camera is 8 megapixels, while the Galaxy A57 5G offers a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Both incorporate AI for object detection and natural skin tone adjustment, as well as a Nightography mode that increases shutter speed and reduces noise in low-light conditions.
The Galaxy A57 5G is powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset and includes a Vapor Chamber cooling system to ensure smooth performance during gaming and heavy use. The Galaxy A37 5G uses the Exynos 1480 chipset but shares similar cooling technology.
Both run on Android 16 with an upgrade path for six more versions, layered with One UI 8.5. AI features include Gemini Live, Circle to Search, and automatic transcription via Bixby.
The Galaxy A57 5G is available in three colors: gray, purple, and dark blue. Pricing starts at 16,999 baht for the 8/256GB online-exclusive model, 17,999 baht for the 12/256GB variant, and 20,999 baht for the 12/512GB configuration.
The Galaxy A37 5G also comes in three colors: gray, light purple, and dark green. It is sold in a single 8/256GB model priced at 13,999 baht.
