Apple has made clear that there will be no AI in executive positions, introducing a new topic that the iPhone will continue strongly for 50 years or be replaced by new technology.
Greg Joswiak, Apple's Chief Marketing Officer, told Wired magazine that it is hard to imagine a world without the iPhone 50 years from now, despite the significant changes AI technology may bring. He said the iPhone will continue to serve as a crucial hub for accessing such technologies.
Eddy Cue, Senior Vice President of Services, who previously remarked last year that the iPhone might become unnecessary within 10 years due to emerging technologies like AI or smart glasses that could replace smartphones.
Beyond the iPhone topic, Apple CEO Tim Cook firmly confirmed that Apple will definitely not employ AI or an Agentic Model to perform executive management in place of humans, even looking as far ahead as 50 years.
Tim Cook believes that humans will continue to determine the direction and vision of the tech world, no matter how advanced artificial intelligence becomes.
