The vivo X300 Ultra flagship is vivo's lead device for entering the global smartphone market, positioned as a premium challenger to Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra, highlighting its professional-level video recording capabilities.
vivo officially announced the launch of the vivo X300 Ultra in China. For 2026, vivo has positioned the X300 Ultra as its top-tier flagship, offering professional-grade video and still photography capabilities, making it a key competitor to Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra.
vivo has packed the camera specs heavily, featuring two 200-megapixel sensors: a main camera with a Sony Lytia 901 sensor sized at 1/1.12 inches and 200MP resolution, accompanied by a 200MP telephoto camera with an 85mm equivalent focal length and 3.7x optical zoom, plus a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor.
As a smartphone brand focused on photography, vivo offers external accessory lenses in collaboration with ZEISS, available in two focal lengths: 200mm (8.7x optical zoom) and 400mm (up to 17.4x optical zoom). Both lenses include gimbal stabilization and autofocus systems.
Regarding device specs, the vivo X300 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, supports up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, and features a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1440 x 3168 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The phone ships with Android 16 as the base operating system, customized with OriginOS 6.
The vivo X300 Ultra includes a 6,600 mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
A key question for smartphone users in Thailand is whether the vivo X300 Ultra will be available outside China. vivo has confirmed that it will indeed be marketed internationally, marking the first time a vivo Ultra series phone will be sold beyond China.
Although the exact release date has not been specified, the vivo X300 Ultra is set to compete with the Galaxy S26 Ultra and also with the Oppo X9 Ultra, which is expected to launch in the first half of 2026.
