Although early reports mentioned the phone as an iPhone 17 Pro, evidence from the image files shared by NASA confirms it is Apple's top-tier model, which was provided for the astronauts' use. Besides the iPhone, the mission also included Nikon and GoPro cameras to document this historic journey.
Reddit forums discussed this, suggesting it might be the best Apple commercial footage in a decade, showcasing a mobile camera capturing stunning images from beyond Earth, and joked that the astronauts would have the coolest wallpapers once safely back home.
