Google Translate Adds Pronunciation Practice Feature Supporting English, Spanish, and Hindi

Google Translate celebrates its 20th anniversary by adding a new feature that allows language learners to pronounce words more accurately, following native speaker standards. Initially, it supports three languages: English, Spanish, and Hindi.  ","tags":["Google Translate","language learning","pronunciation feature","English","Spanish","Hindi"]

On the occasion of Google Translate's 20th anniversary, a new feature has been added enabling users to practice pronunciation and word spacing directly within the Google Translate app, similar to the Duolingo application.  ","tags":["Google Translate","20th anniversary","language practice","app features","Duolingo"]

To practice pronunciation, users enter the Practice menu and select the Pronounce button. After the translation process, the system displays phonetic symbols to guide correct pronunciation.  ","tags":["pronunciation practice","phonetics","Google Translate app","language learning"]

Google Translate then evaluates the pronunciation and provides a score, along with feedback if any part of the pronunciation is unclear. Users can also listen to correct sample pronunciations from the system to compare and improve their own.  ","tags":["pronunciation evaluation","language feedback","practice tools","Google Translate"]

Initially, Google has launched this pronunciation practice feature in the United States and India, supporting English, Spanish, and Hindi. The service will expand to other countries thereafter.  ","tags":["feature rollout","United States","India","English","Spanish","Hindi","language support"]},{
