Meta has launched new subscription services called Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus, offering special features such as story boosting, stories that last longer than 24 hours, and the ability to view others' stories without leaving any trace.
Meta, the owner of platforms Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, has introduced new subscription services named Facebook Plus, Instagram Plus, and WhatsApp Plus, priced at $3.99 per month (around 130 baht).
Initially, the Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus packages are quite similar, allowing members access to special Instagram features such as the ability to see how many times someone has rewatched their IG Story and to create unlimited audience groups for IG Stories beyond the existing Close Friends option.
Users can also pin their own IG Stories, with opportunities to boost their visibility to increase viewers, extend story duration beyond 24 hours, and view IG Stories anonymously, among other features.
However, the announced features represent only a part of the offerings, as Meta plans to gradually update and reveal additional capabilities in the future.
Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus are services Meta intends to market worldwide, though it has not yet disclosed which region will be the first to launch the services.
