The Reno16 Series 5G launches with a 200MP main camera, 144Hz refresh rate, up to 7,000mAh battery, and 80W charging on the ColorOS 16 interface.
OPPO officially launched its new smartphone lineup, the OPPO Reno16 Series 5G, in Thailand, comprising three models: Reno16 F 5G, Reno16 5G, and Reno16 Pro 5G, with prices starting at 15,999 baht.
The Reno16 Series highlights include an upgraded 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 3.5x portrait zoom lens, and the flagship model features a 200MP main camera. The back cover design is a 3D star pattern, which OPPO claims is an industry first.
Regarding photography, the Reno16 Series uses a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 3.5x zoom portrait camera, enhanced with AI features for photo and video collage creation within a single frame, as well as a Pop Cam mode offering over nine film-style presets.
For video, the phones support 4K recording and a 0.6x ultra-wide mode on both front and rear cameras, along with an automatic frame adjustment feature that keeps the horizon straight even if the camera tilts during shooting.
In terms of design, the device uses an aerospace-grade aluminum frame and features a 3D star-patterned finish available in four colors and styles. The display supports a maximum 144Hz refresh rate, exclusive to the Reno16 Pro 5G model.
Meanwhile, the Reno16 5G and Reno16 F 5G models have a 120Hz refresh rate. The software runs ColorOS 16, promising six years of security updates and AI features such as AI Mind Space and AI Snap Key.
The devices meet IP69K water and dust resistance standards, feature batteries up to 7,000mAh, and support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
The entry-level Reno16 F 5G comes with a 50MP 3.5x zoom portrait camera and a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera. It is available in three colors: Pop White, Dream Purple, and Twilight Violet, with storage options of 8+128GB and 8+256GB, starting at 15,999 baht.
The Reno16 5G offers three 50MP cameras, the same three colors as the F model, with storage options of 8+256GB and 12+256GB, priced from 19,999 baht.
The flagship Reno16 Pro 5G focuses on video capabilities with a 200MP main camera. It is available in two colors: Pop White and Starlight Black, with 12+256GB storage, priced at 29,999 baht.
