Samsung deleted all Instagram posts except for six mysterious ones hinting at the arrival of the Galaxy Z Fold 8.
Samsung officially released the first teaser for its high-end foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 8, using a unique strategy by deleting nearly all posts from its Instagram accounts @SamsungMobile and @SamsungMobileUSA, leaving only six posts arranged to spell out the message "New Shape, New Joy."
All six posts show cropped images of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 design, revealing the Fold 8's new shape, which is shorter and wider than the previous model. Although most posts do not mention the model name directly, Samsung uses wording that plays on the new shape throughout the series, including phrases like "sweet new shape," "cuts to what matters," and "feels just right."
The most revealing post in the series features the phrase "Bold Stroke. New Shape." alongside a color palette of purple, pink, and gold, matching the colors rumored to appear in the Galaxy Z Fold 8, before cutting to a wallpaper clearly showing the number "8."
So far, no official launch date has been announced, but leaked information suggests Samsung may hold the Galaxy Unpacked event for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 on 22 July 2026.
