
The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is another model expected to be launched at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event on 22 July. It is anticipated that the device will usethe chipsetof the Exynos 2600.
Samsung is organizing the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event on 22 July, where it is expected to unveil three foldable smartphone models, includingthe Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, the flagship of the series.Alongsidethe Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, which features a redesigned body different from previous models,and the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the smallest model in the foldable series, set to launch in the second half of 2026.
Additionally, Samsung will introduce two accessory models: the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
In terms of design, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is unlikely to differ much from the Galaxy Z Flip 7. It will retain the inward main screen, the external display, side-mounted power and volume buttons, a punch-hole selfie camera, and horizontally aligned rear cameras surrounded by the external screen—essentially carrying over the previous model's design almost entirely.
Regarding specifications, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will be powered by the Exynos 2600 chip for global markets, except in the United States, where it will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The device will feature 12GB of RAM, a 6.9-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X main display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 4.1-inch external screen also supporting 120Hz. It will house a 4,300 mAh battery and come with storage options of 256GB or 512GB.
For cameras, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 10-megapixel selfie camera.
The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to be available in three colors: cream, pink, and graphite black.
