iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max Enter Mass Production Phase

Supply chain reports indicate that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have begun mass production. The factory responsible for producing the iPhones has increased hourly wages by 27 yuan to motivate workers.

Industry supply chain sources report that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have entered mass production to be ready for release following their launch in September.

According to reports, Foxconn, the partner factoryof Applein manufacturing the iPhone 18 Series, has injected significant bonuses to attract workers back to the production line. The Zhengzhou factory raised hourly wages by 27 yuan (about 132 baht), while returning workers can receive incentives up to 7,500 yuan (approximately 36,750 baht).

This is a normal occurrence aligned with the seasonal launch of new products, especially Apple’s. Factories like Foxconn and other partners recruit large numbers of workers, offering higher-than-usual hourly wages along with substantial bonuses to encourage workers from rural China to move to Zhengzhou for employment.

These workers typically live in factory dormitories for the duration of their contracts, usually about three months. Their pay is generally higher than what they could earn in their local areas.

Details on the iPhone 18 Pro remain somewhat unclear, but it is highly likely Apple will use a more powerful A20 Pro chip along with an upgraded, more efficient display.
