Apple has released a new version of its Polishing Cloth on the Apple Store website, priced nearly half as much as the original version sold in 2021.
Going back to 2021, Apple first launchedthe Polishing Clothfor the first time, sparking immediate debate over its price, which was many times higher than typical microfiber cloths. It quickly became a meme on social media but sold out rapidly, with some buyers waiting weeks or even months for delivery. Its standout feature was the ability to clean all Apple screens without leaving scratches.
The new Polishing Cloth is now available not only in the United States but also on the Apple Store in Thailand, priced at 350 baht including tax. It was released alongside new Mac mini and Mac Studio models. This price is even cheaper than the original, which sold for a steep 690 baht, causing the controversy mentioned earlier.
Apple has not detailed the differences betweenthe original and new Polishing Cloths.
