Apple has launched a new Polishing Cloth on its Apple Store website, priced at nearly half the cost of the original version sold in 2021.
Going back to 2021, Apple first releasedthe Polishing Cloth.This initial release sparked immediate controversy over its price, which was several times higher than typical microfiber cloths, leading to memes on social media. Despite this, it sold out quickly, with some buyers waiting weeks to months for delivery. Its key feature is safely cleaning all Apple displays without leaving scratches.
The new Polishing Cloth is available not only in the United States but also at Apple Store Thailand, priced at 350 baht including tax. It launched alongside new Mac mini and Mac Studio models, and is notably cheaper than the original's 690 baht price, which was previously a subject of debate.
Apple has not specified the differences betweenthe original and new Polishing Cloth versions. The website only states that"This polishing cloth is made from a soft material that does not cause scratches, making it safe and effective for cleaning all Apple displays, including Nano-texture screens."
The Apple Store Thailand website also lists over 140 Apple devices compatible with the Polishing Cloth, covering iPhone 5 through iPhone Air and iPhone 17 series, as well as iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and displays like the Pro Display XDR and Studio Display—essentially all Apple products.
