The core upgrade lies in a completely new multi-port acoustic architecture inspired by the AirPods Pro 3, working with the next-generation adaptive EQ and advanced computational processing, resulting in noise cancellation 50% better than AirPods 4.
It also features Adaptive Audio that smoothly blends transparency mode with ANC according to the real environment, plus Conversation Awareness that automatically lowers volume when you start talking to someone nearby.
Apple also caters to active users by upgrading dust, sweat, and water resistance to IP57, redesigning the battery to play audio for up to 5 hours per charge with ANC on, and extending total playback time to 22 hours using the charging case.
For those seeking more premium features, the AirPods 5 wireless charging case model adds a pressure sensor on the earbud stem to swipe up and down for instant volume adjustment.
This is the first time this function is available in open-ear earbuds. The wireless charging case supports charging via Apple Watch charger, standard Qi chargers, and USB-C.
Apple announced attractive pricing for AirPods 5: the standard model at 4,790 baht, and the wireless charging case version at 5,490 baht.
