realme has partnered with Warner Bros. to release a limited-edition Harry Potter-themed smartphone with only 5,000 units available worldwide.
realme officially launched the realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition in Thailand, a special smartphone developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. This limited-edition model is capped at just 5,000 units globally.
The highlight of the realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition is the inclusion of the four Hogwarts house crestsfrom Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardrycentered on the back cover, which uses Quadra Light-Sensing Color-changing technology. realme claims this is a world first, allowing each house crest to gradually reveal its signature colors when exposed to sunlight. The design draws inspiration from the Sorting Hat ceremony in the Harry Potter series.
The device features a brown color scheme with Argyle leather-textured surfaces inspired by the wizard chess scene. The rear camera module is designed to resemble Hedwig, Harry Potter’s owl.PotterThe metal frame at the center is laser-engraved with the phrase "Welcome to Hogwarts."
The software includes a Hogwarts-themed user interface, featuring wallpapers, app icons, animations, and a specially customized GT mode.
The camera of the realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition boasts a 200-megapixel LumaColor Camera paired with LumaColor IMAGE technology, certified by TÜV. realme states this helps separate the subject from the background, creates bokeh effects, and accurately renders skin tones in portrait photography.
The device comes packaged in a collectible box modeled as a 1:1 scale replica of Harry Potter’s trunk. Inside are a Hogwarts acceptance letter, a train ticket to Platform 9¾, house crest bookmarks, character postcards, a smartphone case embossed with the Hogwarts crest, and a pin badge.
