Xiaomi has officially confirmed that its flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, are definitely scheduled for global release, though the exact launch date has not been specified yet.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, two high-end smartphones from Xiaomi, are set to be among the models available in the global smartphone market within 2026.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max were officially unveiled in Beijing on 23 September.Less than 24 hours later, Xu Fei, Xiaomi's Chief Marketing Officer, confirmed via his X account that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will indeed enter the global smartphone market and hinted that more surprises are in store.
However, Xiaomi has not yet set a precise timeline for when the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be available worldwide, though they are expected to launch during the remainder of 2026.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro features a primary 6.4-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1120 x 2436 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 4,000 nits. It also has a secondary 2.7-inch LTPO AMOLED rear display with a resolution of 596 x 976 pixels, the same 120Hz refresh rate, and 4,000 nits peak brightness.
The device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip, equipped with a 200MP main camera featuring optical image stabilization (OIS), a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 3.2x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP front camera. It houses a 7,000 mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, runs on Android 17 with the HyperOS 4 interface, and has IP68 water and dust resistance.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is slightly larger, featuring a 6.9-inch display with a resolution of 1208 x 2624 pixels, a 2.9-inch rear screen, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, and equipped with a larger 8,500 mAh battery.
