Throughout November at Wiang Chiang Rung in Chiang Rai province, the season opens for checking in at sunflower and lotus fields, listening to folk songs, and experiencing the community way of life.
The Chiang Rai Provincial Administrative Organization, together with Wiang Chiang Rung District and Pa Sang Subdistrict Administrative Organization, invites the public and tourists to visit the "Beautiful Lotus, Blooming Sunflowers at Wiang Chiang Rung" event starting from 12 November 2025 throughout the month at Nong Bua, Nong Mon, Village No. 13, Pa Sang Subdistrict, Wiang Chiang Rung District, Chiang Rai Province.Chiang Rai.
The event features areas to view sunflowers blooming alongside lotus ponds, photo checkpoints, and folk song and local cultural performances throughout the event. The goal is to stimulate the grassroots economy and promote community-based eco-tourism in Wiang Chiang Rung.
Visitors are encouraged to plan photo sessions during the morning and evening when the winter light is most beautiful and to follow updates on performance schedules or special activities from the organizers.
