The Pride Month for the LGBTQIA+ community begins grandly this year, as Narumit Pride Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and partner networks, has announced readiness to organize the event. “Bangkok Pride Festival 2026” officially under the key strategy “Road to Bangkok WorldPride 2030” to elevate Bangkok to become a global host city and advance the rights and welfare of LGBTQIA+ in Asia.

This year’s event is held under the theme “Patch the World with Pride: Weaving the World with Pride” focusing on connecting people through the 3P principles: PEACE, PEOPLE, and PRIDE. The global highlight is the movement of a Pride flag over 500 meters long, stretching along the historic route.

This year’s festival centers on connecting people through the principles of PEACE, PEOPLE, and PRIDE, featuring the key highlight of a more than 500-meter-long Pride flag stretching along a historic route from Silom Road to Thephasadin Stadium.

  • Bangkok Pride Parade 2026 (31 May 2026) The festival’s main highlight is a six-dimensional parade reflecting peace, dignity, and spirit along a route spanning 3.8 kilometers.
  • Drag Bangkok Festival 2026 A festival gathering drag artists worldwide to elevate this art form as a recognized profession and promote it as a soft power on an international level.

Traffic routes and schedule for “Bangkok Pride Festival 2026” Pride Parade on 31 May 2026

A highlight not to be missed by the public and tourists is the “Bangkok Pride Parade 2026,” held on Sunday, 31 May 2026, with the following route and schedule details.

  • Event time 14:00 – 22:00
  • Parade route The parade begins forming at Nararam Intersection (Silom Road intersecting Narathiwat Ratchanakarin Road, Khlong Chong Nonsi), then proceeds along Silom Road, heads to Henri Dunant Road, turns right onto Rama I Road, and ends at Thephasadin Stadium.
  • Pathumwan Police Station Rama I Road between Pathumwan Intersection and Chaloem Phao Intersection will be closed from 16:00 to 19:00 due to the Pride parade.

Besides the grandeur of over 150 parade groups, the "Bangkok Pride Festival 2026" also showcases Thailand’s capability to bid as the host city for WorldPride 2030, expected to boost sustainable economic growth and tourism while promoting Thailand’s image as a land of freedom and diversity.
